Kentucky Open Tournament
The Kentucky Open Checker Tournament was held October 3 - 5, 2003, in Richmond, KY. Alex Moiseyev was so far ahead during the tournament that he was allowed return home on Saturday evening and did not have to play the final round on Sunday. He had already won 10 games and allowed only 2 draws. On hand were five former Kentucky Champions! Mr. Herbert Reed made a fine showing and is the new Kentucky State Champion. Mr. Leon Creek (as usual) did a fine job as referee and score keeper. Thanks, Leon! Here are the results.
